Like so many other New Englanders, I am staying inside. It snowed only a little last night, which makes me happy. But it still looks like it is really cold, and I don't want to fight with the rental car on ice.
So what will I do on a snow day:
- Look at this Washington Post feature on the conflicts in Congo: War in the Shadows
- Drink a Samuel Smith Taddy Porter: it has a nice blackberry taste.
- Look for gifts for the family online. Yeah, it is also a lazy shopping season for me.
- Try to motivate myself to complete the application for the fellowship that I have a 99% chance of getting.
- Listen to some more Fiery Furnaces (see below.)
- Start compiling lists of my favorite things from the last year. Ya know, year's best kinda things.
- Screw around with the design of this page.
